Personal Equipment

The following personal equipment is recommended. The list is based on that issued by Sommers Canoe Base (BSA) and modified based on experience. Volume is critical. All required items, except those being worn, rain suit (carried in day pack) and the camp shoes, should fit in the dry bag. It can be done!

Day packs tend to become large and heavy. Sharing packs to decrease the number and keeping them small is highly recommended. This will be greatly appreciated on portages.
