Purpose of Award: To recognize an exceptional level of Cub, parent and leader participation in District and Pack activities.

Eligibility: First 4 criteria are mandatory. Completion of a total of 8 criteria for 'silver' award and 10 for 'gold' award.

Due date: January 11, 2000 (January Roundtable)

______ 2. Pack Awards: Pack received both Quality Unit Award and Pack Summertime Award
______ 3. Parental Participation: Strive for 100% parental participation (one parent per family) in Pack Meetings and activities. List two actions staken to improve parental attendance:

  • The same activity cannot be used to meet two different criteria, e.g., Scout Show ticket sales can be used as either a Scout Show activity or a District Fund Raising activity, but not both.
  • "Participation" means all eligible Cubs in Pack were invited to participate and at least one Cub actually did.
  • The patch order will be finalized immediately after the January Roundtable in hopes of having the patches available for the District Recognition Banquet. The patches will be the existing design with the year added. The border color will indicate silver or gold award.
